Smile Shape Card

Jul 9, 2011

Well another fabulous weekend is upon us! I hope you get some crafty time in your schedule over the next few days. Don’t forget to enter the fabulous giveaway this week.

For this week’s challenge, we were to make a shape card. I loved this challenge because I’ve been wanting to make a card like this out of the Spellbinders Heart Circles die S4-316

I just used a little bit of chalk ink on the end of the card to give it some softness.

That gorgeous butterfly is from the Vintage Treasures set.  I first stamped the image with Versamark Watermark Stamp pad and then glittered it with Your So Fine Ruby Slipper Glitter.  Isn’t it beautiful? I really love that stamp!

For my sentiment, I used the You Make me Smile stamp from Fabulous Phrases.  There are so many cards that can be made with that set. It’s a must have!

Finally I topped off my card with Baby LeCreme Pearls and the scalloped portion of the Nestabling™ Lacey Ovals

I truly hope you are inspired to get creative with your shape cards.  We would love to see what you come up with!

Happy Scrapping!

Michele
